Nature Events this Month
The three groups that regularly offer public bird walks in our area are Marin Audubon Society, Marin Open Space, and Wild Birds Unlimited (sponsors of this blog). Check their calendars for additional scheduled events in other parts of the county.
February 11: Backyard Bird Nesting talk at Wild Birds Unlimited. Learn when, where, and how our common backyard birds build their nests, as well as learn what kind of birds can be attracting to nesting boxes and how you can maximize their odds of success. February 19: Nature for Kids at Indian Valley, Marin Open Space. Get close up with amphibians!
February 22: Early wildflowers at Mount Burdell, Marin Open Space.
