In this in-store presentation, we'll be playing and discussing how to recognize about 20 common backyard birds by the sounds they make in fall. In addition to the nitty-gritty, call-by-call material, we'll also discuss the purpose of different bird vocalizations and the tips, tricks, and techniques that will make it easier both to remember these birds and to learn others in the future.
In this library presentation, we'll provide a broad overview of the birds our home territory has to offer, interspersed with myriad little tips of astoundingly helpful specificity. If you'd like to see more birds in your everyday life, discover under-the-radar local hotspots, or generally understand the place where you live, this is the talk for you!
In this in-store presentation, we'll be discussing ducks and other swimming birds. We'll give an overview of the different families: ducks, geese, swans, grebes, rails, and cormorants, then move on to how to identify and find our most notable local species.
